Thiết kế

Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i có kích thước ban đầu rất nhỏ gọn (284 x 99 x 77mm). Vỏ ngoài của máy bằng nhựa kết hợp hai màu đen và xám.

Khi sử dụng, người dùng có thể bật nắp đậy phía trên của máy để biến thành khay nạp tài liệu tự động ADF (automatic document feeder).

Khay ADF này có sức chứa tối đa 10 tờ (định lượng chuẩn 80g/m2), đồng thời cũng hỗ trợ nhiều loại giấy kích cỡ khác nhau tối đa khổ A4 và định lượng tối đa 105g/m2.

Khe giấy ra của máy ở phía trước, do không có giá đỡ nên người dùng phải bố trí sẵn không gian phù hợp để đón giấy ra.

Máy chỉ có duy nhất một nút nhấn dùng để quét nhanh.

ScanSnap S1300i sử dụng công nghệ quét CIS (Color Image Sensor) với hai hệ thống nguồn sáng quét đồng thời, cho phép quét cùng lúc 2 mặt giấy tự động và giúp tiết kiệm thời gian.

Máy nặng khoảng 1,4kg và có thể cầm bằng một tay dễ dàng.

Phía sau máy trang bị cổng mini USB để kết nối với máy tính, lỗ khóa Kensington chống mất máy. Không giống các máy quét di động khác sử dụng nguồn qua cùng cáp USB truyền dữ liệu, ScanSnap lại có cổng nguồn 5V riêng được cấp từ cổng USB của máy tính qua cáp riêng hay qua adapter đi kèm.

Mặt dưới máy có 4 chân đế cao su tròn giúp bám chắc trên các mặt phẳng.

Phụ kiện đi kèm theo máy gồm có sách hướng dẫn, đĩa cài đặt, adapter, cáp nguồn, cáp USB và cáp cấp nguồn qua cổng USB
